Hello, I am hoping to transition my career from facility-based LTC to a community-based care setting, in a full time work capacity. I have experience working in both 1:1 and group facilitated programs to support life-based skills and person-centred leisure/life skills activities.
I hold a Diploma in Recreation Therapy (Gerontology), October 2016 from Stenberg College, Surrey, BC, and have been employed for 6 years by Interior Health in the capacity of Therapeutic Recreation Program Coordinator.
