Hi there! My name is Bethany, and I am a fourth-year undergraduate student majoring in Indigenous Studies at UBC Okanagan. I am originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, where I grew up alongside my younger brother, Jonah, who is autistic. My experiences with Jonah led me to work and volunteer with the Rehabilitation Centre for Children in Winnipeg, where I supported youth with various developmental and physical disabilities at social programs including summer camps and school-year day programs.
Support Worker Central is a job board connecting people with disabilities and support staff throughout British Columbia.
