Hi Tri-Cities,
We are in search of a support worker/BI for child-lead, play-based activities set primarily at our child’s daycare facility (PoCo Daycare Society). Our son is a bright, cheerful & persistent 8 year old with ASD. He’s in 3rd grade in the SD43 Montessori program. He is minimally verbal & learning to use TouchChat on his iPad to communicate.
The details:
-Two after-school shifts a week at the Daycare.
-Pick up required at James Park Elementary ***Car Needed***
-Pro D day and school break coverage also needed
-Scheduling to be determined, with flexibility
-Records checks required.
-You’ll work independently but in conjunction with our lead Support Worker who will be available for training and support.
-Since this position is relationship-based, we hope that the right candidate will be available long term.
