Youth Counselling & Behaviour Specialist

Looking for an experienced counselling and behaviour specialist to work with a teen in the family home and community. You will be using a combination of counselling, behaviour support, and life skills support.

Contract runs till June 30th, 2023 (Regular temporary employment, not independent contractor.)


Bachelors (masters preferred) in counselling, psychology, or child and youth care or similar
2+ years of experience as a counsellor, behaviour interventionist, youth worker, support worker, education assistant, school support worker, youth care worker, psychiatric facility worker, or similar role
Experience and/or training in Mandt (preferred) or crisis intervention (NVCI)
Counselling experience, including with self regulation and grounding skills
CPR & First Aid
Driver’s license & clear abstract
CRC for vulnerable populations
Vaccinated for COVID & flu

Salary: $30.00-$36.00 per hour

4 to 8 hour shift
