Residential Youth Support Worker in Richmond

Job Description

Our non-profit society is seeking reliable and caring individuals to join our care team to make a positive difference in a young person’s life.
Our mission is to provide compassionate and personalized care for our youth in their family home, to support our youth to create a life filled with possibility and independence, and to create a respectful, positive work environment inclusive of work-life balance for our staff.

Our young person is Neurodiverse with medical and developmental disabilities and requires support and supervision in their home and in the community. Our youth is kind, loves to laugh, goes to school, has friends, likes to swim, go for nature walks and do arts and crafts.
Our young person has a Licensed service dog to help with Anxiety and sleep.

Job Requirements:
-Minimum 6 months education in the field of social sciences/and or experience working with Neurodiverse children and youth.
-Proof of Covid vaccination
-Criminal Record Check
-Seizure First Aid training
-Having a valid BC driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract, and reliable car.

Salary: $25- $29 per hour
Schedule: Part-time and casual shifts available.
