A Support Worker is required for an engaging, athletic, easy going adult male with intellectual disabilities in beautiful South Delta (Ladner). Duties include supporting the individual at a variety of activities such as work and volunteering, athletics, networking with friends; and in learning practical life skills such as computer and smart phone use, general literacy, bus skills, cooking and shopping. Support takes place in the community and in the individual’s home.

Strong teaching ability and computer/smart phone skills are required, plus 1-2 years post-secondary or equivalent experience. The successful candidate will be a fluent English speaker and MUST have use of a reliable car. This is a permanent position, so no temporary inquiries please.
Hours per week: 10-16
Schedule: 2-3 days per week, approximately 10-3:30pm; must be available Mondays and Wednesdays.
Wage: $20-22/hr depending on experience.
