Day support worker needed in West Kelowna for non-speaking, adult male with Global Developmental Delay. Client requires an outgoing, social, and active individual to create and facilitate activities and social interactions each day.
Requirements for this position are: Community Care First Aid, a clear criminal record check, CLBC privacy certification, complete and current vaccinations (including, but not limited to covid-19 and annual flu shots) a drivers license and Drivers Abstract (preferably with own vehicle), and some experience or interest in working with youth/adults with diversabilities.
Hours will be consistent, Monday Through Friday 10/10:30am till 2/2:30pm
Applicants must be comfortable with personal hygiene based care and light housekeeping. Part-time position available starting March 7, 2022. Wage is dependent on applicants experience but starts at minimum of $23/hour. Please contact with questions if seriously considering this position.
