We are looking for someone to help take care of our sweet 7 year old daughter with Rett Syndrome during the Summer months.
Days required are Tuesday (full day), Wednesday (full day) and Thursday (morning – half day).
Once Summer is over, there may be hours available after school and weekends.
She is non-verbal and non-mobile and needs full support in all activities of daily living. Lifting would be necessary (she is 30 lbs).
We are looking for someone who has experience taking care of young children. Duties include feeding, toileting, administering medications, playing with her, taking her for walks in stroller. She has seizures, so experience in this area would be beneficial, but we can also train you.
We are in North Burnaby, close to bus lines.
