Looking for an engaging and energetic support worker for a 8 year old girl with Rett syndrome and ASD. Our daughter is mobile and you need to be able to keep up with her. This position is great for responsible college/university students, Eduction Assistants, those wanting to get into education field or a field like Occupational Therapy.
You would come to our home and supervise her for 3 hours, 2 times per week from 10 am – 1 pm hours are flexible). More hours may be available. Activities would include playing outside, going for walk, going to local spray water park, possibly to swimming pool, doing her preferred activities at home like puzzles, scooter rides. Drivers license is necessary to take her out and also we don’t live on a bus route. No specific training is required. Responsibility, dependability, compassion, kindness and good energy are the characteristic we are looking for. $25/hr.
