We are a family of three—Mom, Dad, and our soon-to-be 7 year old son W, who is Diagnosed with Autism, ADHD and other coexisting conditions.
W is joyful, verbal, and all about his passions: vacuums! Planets! Swimming! Music!
He uses Greg Hanley’s “My Way” program to tolerate transitions in his daily routine and he loves and adores his support workers—seeking attention and asking them to take part in his favourite activities.
We are seeking a childcare and BI support worker full time in summer as Dad and Mom work full time days. You will be well supported by a long term team of Behaviour professionals who know W and our family inside and out. For the right fit/person, there is an option to continue to work with our family after summer—either as regular respite or as a full time EA.
