Home support / caregiver wanted for a creative woman in her early 40’s with physical disabilities. She is dependent on a power wheelchair and requires support with all aspects of daily living. She lives in her own home, has a large friendly dog and is an enthusiastic mother to an active toddler.
Those suited to this job are caring, physically fit and strong, proactive, organized, patient and flexible with changing household needs. Duties include assistance with personal care such as bathing and dressing, transfers to and from wheelchair, light housekeeping, meal prep and cooking, assistance with outings/hobbies/errands/appointments, support with range-of-motion exercises, and driving the client’s accessible minivan. Applicants must have experience maintaining a household, caring for others, a valid driver’s license and be physically fit and strong for lifting transfers. Minimum 1st Covid-19 vaccination is required.
Compensation is $24/hr to start. Morning/daytime shifts. Some evening and weekend shifts also available. Two positions are available. Part-time and full-time hours available, Please inquire if interested in either position.
