Looking for support workers in Abbotsford for part time day-time support for a female youth with autism in our home. Parents will also be home during the day in the home. There is a bus stop in our neighborhood.
Activities will include; arts/crafts, games, tv/movies, walks/exercise. Looking for persons that can bring their own activity ideas. Attend with parents to medical appointments and other activities outside of the home
The person you will be supporting is a 15 year old female with PWS and autism. She has complex behavior’s, outburst and aggression is possible. We are looking for individuals that can handle high behavioral situations. Must be calm and confident.
Training will be provided by a behavioral consultant that has worked with and known the individual for many years
Activities and materials for activities will be provided/paid.
Salary range: $28 – $32 /hour
