I am looking for an energetic support worker for my 16 year old son who has a seizure disorder. Preference will be given to those who can stay a minimum of 1 year.
Pay: 20.00/hour
Days: For Mon-Fri from 6am to 9am during school week, 8 hours during Pro-D days and some afternoons for early pick up.
Location: Port Coquitlam
Requirements:
– Ability to drive for school drop off and pick ups.
-Building self confidence and life skills such as preparing simple meals.
-supporting him doing things outside the home that is not technology based. e.g. going on a walk, outdoor exercise.
Additional qualities:
-patience and sense of humour
– experience a bonus but not necessary
