Job Description

We are looking to connect an intelligent, an intelligent and outgoing 24-year-old young lady who requires support with all health-related needs and her family with an experienced care provider who would be willing to share their home and life (home share – full time).

About the individual: Her hobbies include playing the piano, reading books, collecting movies, listening to music, coloring, and using technology. She enjoys making her own playlists and searching the internet. With the right caregiver she would enjoy exploring more and new hobbies! She has many talents and gifts, but what stands out the most is her positive attitude and attention to everyone around her.
She is independent; however, she has Cerebral Palsy on her right side. She has no use of her right hand and fingers, but she can move her arm and use it to hold things. Because of this she relies on equipment and support of others to complete day to day tasks.

Arrangement preference: She is looking for a room within someone’s home that can give her the support and family inclusion that she needs. As well as to build up her independence and skills around the home!
Location: White Rock – Surrey BC.
Applicants must have experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and mobility issues. Applicants must also be able and willing to support with all health-related and personal care needs/supports. Individual will provide required equipment to make day to day living easier.
