COMMUNITY SUPPORT WORKER
A Community Support Worker permanent part time position is available. This is a 2 day position for Thursday and Friday. The daytime hours preferred are 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM but can be flexible. This position supports a delightful young woman who has a developmental disability to volunteer, work and participate in her community. This fun-loving and outgoing young woman enjoys yoga, swimming, working out, acting, music, crafts and maintaining and making new friendships. Some assistance is needed with daily household routines.
Starting wage of $23.00/hr. Comfortable and respectful work environment with a non-profit society(Microboard). Familiarity with the TriCities area preferred. This position is available immediately.
Applicant should have community support worker experience/training
A good command of the English language is an asset
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to function independently.
Current First Aid Certificate.
Criminal Record Search required.
Clean drivers abstract.
Use of own vehicle required.
