Outreach Support Worker/Respite Worker

Job Description

An outreach support/respite worker is needed for a young man with autism who is using the iPad to communicate and is very willing to learn and fun to work with. You are required to support him during recreational activities and at home to increase his communication, self-help, and social skills with an interactive approach.

Previous experience working with individuals with autism is an asset but willing to train. The individual uses the TouchChat to communicate with others but willing to train. The work schedule will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. 5 days per week during weekdays and some additional hours, as needed.
