Looking to start with casual respite to a new home share possibility for a 40 year old man. He uses a walker outside but furniture walks inside. He is hearing impaired and wears aids, uses signs, gestures and some verbal language to communicate. He has no medications.
He loves to swim and watch all sports. He attends pathways in Kelowna 4 days a week with Mondays off. Caregiver will require a vehicle.
We would like to get to know the caregivers and negotiate hours and maybe, if the right fit, a possible home-share situation. We have a microboard in place so can negotiate wages and/or a contract.
