Care aide required for our 27 year old son.
Mondays 9:00 – 5:00, but hours might be flexible and more hours might be available.
Our son lives in the downstairs of our home. He has Cerebral Palsy (quadriplegia) and requires assistance in most activities of daily living, including getting in and out of bed and on and off toilet (with use of ceiling lift), preparing his meals and assisting with outings and his work from home (presenting to post secondary schools on a variety of topics).
Experience working with individuals with physical disabilities is preferred but we are willing to train.
Class 5 drivers license, although this is not necessarily a deal breaker for the right person.
We are looking for a mature, responsible, patient and fun individual with good command of English.
