Special Care Aid for a Special Patient
Do you have a strong interest in elder care and want to enhance your skills?
Patricia, 73, has advanced Alzheimer’s Disease. She is a special person who needs loving care. This is a part time role, supplementing the care provided by a full time, live-in care aid.
Pat is now mostly immobile, non-communicative, but easy to love. She needs focused attention on all aspects of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing and generally staying safe and comfortable.
In addition to patient care, meal preparation and light housekeeping duties are required.
This is a home setting well-equipped for patient care.
Qualifications:
demonstrated ability to do this work.
Care Aid Certification, or equivalent.
Palliative Care experience would be helpful for this position
