We are a small non-profit microboard dedicated to ensuring that my son with Autism can lead a self-directed life, build relationships, improve his quality of life, the roll is to help a young man with Autism to be included in the community, assisting with activities within the community and surrounding area, facilitating social interactions and engaging with the activities to help managing behaviours. Your compassion and diligence as a caregiver will bring joy to his life and will help him feel encouraged, involved, and included.
Duties include (but aren’t limited to):
– Assisting and supporting the individual in daily activities
– Providing companionship
– Facilitating community and recreational outings
– Working on communication skills
Job Type: Part time
Pay: $26/hr
Requirements:
· Driver’s License
· Clean driver’s abstract
· First Aid with CPR
· Clean criminal record check
Work location:
Individual’s home and surrounding community
Pay frequency: Bi weekly
