ABA Therapist needed in N. Surrey

Job Description

We are looking for ABA Therapist for a part-time position in a Guildford-area ABA home supporting a fun-loving, energetic, non-verbal, social 23-year-old young lady.
We are looking for female therapists, as this job requires assistance with teaching some personal care needs. We have openings for part time positions with options to work on alternate weekends. We are looking for long term commitment candidates.
The program consists of ABA-intensive behavioural intervention treatment methodologies, with a focus on development of communication, basic academic and practical daily living skills, including generalization of skills in the community. Previous working experience with youth with autism is preferred, however specific training will be provided under our Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
This job requires a positive attitude, great listening skills, willingness to learn on an ongoing basis and efficient application of required ABA methodologies. If you are an outgoing individual with a good level of energy, multitasking ability, attention to a detail, and you want to make a difference in the life of a young person affected with autism, this job is right for you.
This position provides rewarding and valuable experience for students enrolled in psychology or social work programs, speech & language pathology, human kinetics, nursing, or in postsecondary programs such as: SEA, DABA, ABA Support Worker, Child & Youth Care, Community Support Worker, etc.
