Delta/Tsawwassen 1:1 support worker (would be attending as a support worker for the child at daycare)
Hi there!
Seeking a part time (before and after school) 1:1 support worker Delta/Tsawwassen area. The hours would be 7:30am-9:00am and then 3:00pm-5:30pm. This position would become full time in the summer months when kiddo is out of school so full time availability from end of June to beginning of September is a must.
The successful applicant would need to:
– have their own reliable transportation, drivers license, and clean drivers abstract -experience (that can be verified by references) supporting a child with FASD and ADHD who exhibits challenging and sometimes aggressive behaviour.
-have full time availability in the summer months once kiddo is out of school and in daycare full time
-provide a clean criminal record check
-comfortable working in a daycare environment
Duties with this position:
-competently providing positive behavioural support for kiddo in a daycare environment when he is exhibiting challenging or aggressive behaviours.
